The Waterfall exploration and various hues of Thirthahalli

This is the first day Part I of our Monsoon magic trip to the areas in between Thirthahalli and Kollur.. We started from Bangalore around 9pm and reached Thirthahalli around 3am and had a good rest till 8 am and then started our drive to Kollur and the initial ideas was to explore the secret waterfalls the river Thombathu makes and also to visit some old temples around this location.

The first scenes were the beautiful backwaters the river Thombathu made along with the serene rice fields near it and post this we drove around Nagara fort and saw a very vibrant well with green background and blue waters and spent some here. Near to this place there was a very old Hoysala temple and this was not marked in Maps too. This temple looked very ancient and beautiful.

Then we drove towards Kollur and started to look for Streams and followed the streams where it formed multiple waterfalls at various  levels and we were lucky enough to see 4 such waterfalls and all were deep inside the woods. None of these waterfalls were marked in maps and we had to follow the stream deep and discover new waterfalls around. Waterfalls has always been my love as I always believed in a quote

""There is a hidden message in every waterfall. It says, if you are flexible, falling will not hurt you"

After clicking some great pics of all the waterfalls and satisfied with the exploratory trip we headed towards the Kodi Bangere beach for some sunset and beautiful dinner at Udupi ( Will be captured as a separate Post)
