Kolli Malai, Karumandurai and Megam Falls Trip

One of the many trips I enjoyed to the core as after a very long time it was a bike drive trip to the beautiful underrated Eastergn ghats of Kolli hills and Karumandurai.. It was totally a 400 km drive in to the monsoon months in Eastern ghats and we were able to witness absolutely stunning landscapes and waterfalls in those 2 days..

Most of the places we epxlored and clicked pics were off beat places where we trekked down and walked towards the path of streams and found some hidden gems...This place will look very ordinary in dry seasons as well..

A total of 10+ waterfalls were explored and was a great great trip...Kolli hills was so so special and we enjoyed the Herbal soup provided there.. These are so unique places where there is not much human disturbances and we can go and explore the trails without any fuss.. Loved the trip... Just to add Kolli hills has 70 hairpin bends the highest in south India so do have little caution if ur not used to hill driving..

Post the Kolli Hills , Next day we drove the Karumandurai which is another unexplored hill station near Salem and did a trek to see the Megam waterfalls. The River Gomukhi Forms a lovely falls and the valley view is spectacular..It was a trek of about 8 kms both ways and offers beautiful views of the valley and the River. There are other 3-4 waterfalls to explore there and will do it next monsoon season.
