The Four cascading layers of Anguthi Sunai

The Jawadhu malai trip was going in full swing where in 2 days we visited more than 5 waterfalls, trekked to a beautiful hill and also camped on a beautiful cold monsoon night.

Post our Balaparai trek we almost said good bye to Jawadhu malai and wanted to visit one waterfalls for the last time in the trip and on our way back to Bangalore via Thirpatthur we visited this beautiful and underrated Angudhi Sunai.

This area is run by the forest department and we need to pay a small amout of 20rs as entry charges per person and post that we can take the car for 1km till we reach a stream.

Post reaching the stream we need to hike for 1 km where we can check the 4 different layers of this waterfalls. We checked out all the 4 different layers and also took bath in 2 of them.

The final and the bottom layer has a sliding pool where the local kids were sliding for 100 ft height and falling in the pool which really looked like a daring stunt and wont encourage anyone to do these...

Finally we said good bye to Jawadhu hills and went to Tirupathur for a nice Biryani lunch before we started to Bangalore with fresh memories..
