The Grasslands and temple of Keledevare Betta

On a beautiful weekend of November we planned for a Trip which had few places to cover and the first place was the Pandavapura Falls near Nagamangala. We visited the place but due to less water in Cauvery the Dam falls was not in full flow so we moved to our next destination called as the Keledevare Betta near by. This Betta is inbetween Mandya and Melukote.

This is a very very small and beautiful hill and might take about 15 mins one side to reach the peak which has a beautiful old temple. The path is serene with green grasslands and from the peak the view of surrounding hills also look great.

This can be a very beautiful first trek for kids around 5 to 8 yrs old and they can manage this of their own. We spent about 30 mins on this place and then left to our next destination.

I have done my Engineering B.tech and have also did my Masters in Australia and thats where it all began the habit of exploring mother nature around me..Coming back to India I decided to look around all the astonishing places of my country and then slowly started to roam the world also.. I also have a small nature group called as " The Law of Nature" with the members support have planted 4800 trees around Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and have also removed tons of plastics from Biologically Important junctions and Animal reserves. My dream is to dedicate myself in winning the war over banning plastics and also to plant as much as trees as possible.
